Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Chatform iOS app, including its chat interface, keyboard extension, and related services. By using Chatform, you agree to these Terms.

Description of Service

Chatform is an iOS app with a built-in AI chat interface and a keyboard extension. You can chat with GPT directly in the app or from any text field using the keyboard. Messages are sent to an AI service via our backend, which returns a response. The service requires an active subscription for full access.

Acceptable Use

You may use Chatform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the app to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to bypass content moderation or security measures
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-written in contexts where disclosure is required

AI-Generated Content

Chatform uses third-party AI models to generate text. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or unsuitable for any specific purpose
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and evaluating all generated content before using, sharing, or relying on it
  • Chatform does not provide legal, medical, financial, or any other form of professional advice
  • We are not responsible for any decisions, actions, or consequences arising from your use of AI-generated content
  • You assume all risk associated with the use of AI-generated output

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you input into or generate using Chatform. By using the app, you grant Chatform a limited right to process your content solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and Billing

Chatform offers subscription plans through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are managed by Apple and governed by Apple's terms. We are not responsible for billing issues handled by the App Store.

Service Availability

Chatform may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. The app depends on third-party services (including AI providers) and availability is not guaranteed. We are not liable for interruptions caused by third-party outages.

Disclaimer of Warranties

CHATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT GENERATED WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CHATFORM, ITS DEVELOPER, AFFILIATES, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, PERSONAL INJURY, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the app
  • Any content generated, suggested, or displayed by the app
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Actions of third-party services (including AI providers)
  • Any other matter relating to the app

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF CHATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chatform, its developer, and its service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your use of any AI-generated content.

Termination

You may stop using Chatform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if these Terms are violated or the service is misused.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chatform operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
